She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  earning two  runs and one  stolen base.
 In other batting news, Spalding got a  massive  performance out of  Zyon Henley, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  two  runs gave  Henley a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Ra'Khiya Duffie, who  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles.
 Spalding was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .391. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Trinity Christian only posted a  batting average of  .167.
As for Trinity Christian, they now  have a losing record of 5-6. Their loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
 On Trinity Christian's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Makenzie Knowles, who  went 1-for-2 with one  run.  Brooklyn Gosdin also deserves some recognition as  she  got her first  hit of the season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spalding will face off against LaGrange at 6:35  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Trinity Christian, they will challenge Sandy Creek at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Patriots have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.69  runs per game on average), something the Lions will no doubt try to take advantage of.
