A Season-Best Performance from Fabian Diggs Leads Ragsdale over Southwest Guilford
On Friday, Ragsdale got the W thanks in part to Fabian Diggs playing the best football he has all season. Diggs rushed for 178 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023.
If history really does repeat itself, Diggs might just drop another big game when he faces off against Western Guilford on Friday. Diggs rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Hornets duked it out back in October of 2023.

Mitchell Summers Dazzles in Grimsley Win
Mitchell Summers was instrumental in extending Grimsley's winning streak to nine on Friday. Page had no answer to Summers as he rushed for 140 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries. Summers is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last 12 games he's played dating back to last season.
Page had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Summers it was a similar story. When Summers last faced the Pirates back in October of 2023, he rushed for 114 yards and five touchdowns on only nine carries.

Nathan Cox Has Career-Day on Friday
On Friday, Northwest Guilford got the W thanks in part to Nathan Cox playing the best football he has all season. Cox rushed for 135 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.4 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
For the season, Cox has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 67.8 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging ten rushing yards per game.

Ian Mckinnon Turns in Another Game with at Least Two Rushing Touchdowns
Ian Mckinnon continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his third-straight game with at least two rushing touchdowns. He made seven total tackles (1.0 for loss). He also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Southeast Guilford is 4-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.

Faizon Brandon's big game helped extend Grimsley's winning streak to nine on Friday. Page had no answer to Brandon as he threw for 160 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes.
Unfortunately for Page, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Brandon. Brandon threw for 303 yards and two touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 54 yards the last time he and the Pirates duked it out back in October of 2023.
