East Nicolaus put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 42-34 victory over the Quincy Trojans. The 42-point effort marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead East Nicolaus to victory, but perhaps none more so than Makinze Massey, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine boards. Massey has been hot recently, having also posted three or more steals the last three times she's played. Rylee Gillespie was another key player, putting up nine points and six steals.

Quincy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Shelby Nussle, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Marleigh Merino, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine boards.

East Nicolaus' win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Quincy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

East Nicolaus didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 47-41 victory against Biggs on the 7th. As for Quincy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 37-36 win against Mt. Shasta on the 7th.
