While Strasburg's victory against Delta wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Indians won by a run and slipped past the Panthers 9-8. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won five in a row.

Addi Kent was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Rachel Rupple, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Strasburg kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive matches.

Strasburg's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Delta, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Strasburg didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-10 win against Lamar on the 23rd. As for Delta, they will venture away from home to take on Montezuma-Cortez at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
