Mountain Pointe won the last time they faced Desert Vista and things went their way on Friday too. The Pride blew past the Thunder 55-35. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pride.

Another reason for the win was Mountain Pointe's imposing defensive line, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Leading the way was Jaylyn Colter with three.
