Gray scored a full 34.5% of Alief Taylor's points, the 23rd time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Madison Bush-lewis was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six assists.
It was another big night for Aniah Alexis, who dropped a double-double on 35 points and 12 rebounds for Cypress Lakes. The contest was Alexis' 21st in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Makennah Alexis, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Alief Taylor's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 16-7. As for Cypress Lakes, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-8.
