There's no place like home for the Westlake Wolverines, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They took down Northern 61-46 on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Westlake also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
It was another big night for Darian Canty, who scored 29 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Darius Kemper, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Westlake's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Northern, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5.
Westlake will head out on the road to face off against the Cavaliers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Calvert has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 28. As for Northern, they will be playing at home against the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
