McLane's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mylene Huerta, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Valeria Cerda, who scored ten points.

McLane has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Roosevelt, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-7.
McLane will head out on the road to square off against the Patriots at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hoover presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Highlanders in California (the Patriots are ranked 439th, while the Highlanders are ranked 925th). As for Roosevelt, they will be playing at home against the Warriors at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Fresno is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
