Baseball Recap: The Bay School Snags Seventh Victory in Last Nine Games

While The Bay School put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Drew. The Breakers put the hurt on the Dragons with a sharp 10-0 win. The Breakers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by six runs or more this season.

Nate Won was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Terje Steele was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

The Bay School always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Drew only posted an OBP of .300.

The Bay School is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Drew, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-11.

Coming up, The Bay School will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against San Francisco Waldorf at 3:30 p.m. The Breakers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolverines have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. Drew does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
