Everything went their way against Rock Academy as Escondido Charter made off with a 50-30 win. That's another feather in the cap for Escondido Charter, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Escondido Charter's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Faith Grayson, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Harper Mowrey, who scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals.
Rock Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adeline Hooper, who scored 9 points. Thereza Horugavye was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
Escondido Charter's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Rock Academy, they bumped their record down to 5-2 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
