The Rogers City Hurons lost against the Alcona Tigers back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Rogers City fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 40-37. Rogers City has not had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
David Sharboneau went supernova for Alcona, scoring 15 points. Another player making a difference was Cayden Hebert, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Rogers City's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Alcona, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rogers City will take on the Thunderbolts at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Alcona, they will be playing at home against the Owls at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
