While Jefferson County put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Westside. The Warriors put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 16-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 20-5 on Wednesday.

The win made it two in a row for Jefferson County and bumps their season record up to 2-3. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Westside, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Jefferson County will challenge Dublin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Fighting Irish have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.43 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Westside, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Academy of Richmond County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The match will give the Patriots their first taste of in-conference action this season.
