Churubusco was the  3-1 winner over Eastside when they last played one another  back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell  3-1 to the Blazers on Thursday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 24-26, 25-16,  25-17.
 Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Ava Marks, who  had 13  digs and one  assist. Another player making a difference was  Alyssa Marks, who  had three  digs and three  aces.
Churubusco's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Eastside, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
