Baseball Recap: Clinch County Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Clinch County extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping their season record up to 15-15 in the process. They put the hurt on the Turner County Titans with a sharp 16-6 win. Considering the Panthers have won 12 matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Turner County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-25. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly ten runs.

For Turner County's part, Peyton Whiddon made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Brooks, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Coming up, Clinch County will head out to take on Lake Oconee Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Turner County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
