Camden Catholic hasn't had much luck against Bishop Eustace Prep recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Fighting Irish will head out on the road to square off against the Crusaders at 4:00 p.m. Neither Camden Catholic nor Bishop Eustace Prep posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.
Things were looking good for Camden Catholic after they put the first run on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Collingswood by a score of 3-2.

Chase Wolk spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on three hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Reece Murphy made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
Meanwhile, Bishop Eustace Prep entered their tilt with Cherry Hill West on Saturday with 18 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 19. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Lions. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last seven times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
The result came thanks to Daniel Passalacqua's shutout, as he gave up just five hits and racked up 11 Ks. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game.
On the hitting side, Bishop Eustace Prep saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JJ McLaughlin, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run.
Camden Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Bishop Eustace Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 22-3-1.
Camden Catholic suffered a grim 15-5 defeat to Bishop Eustace Prep in their previous meeting back in April. Can the Fighting Irish avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
