The Canyon Hills Rattlers will head out on the road to take on the University City Centurions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, Canyon Hills beat High Tech SD 4-2. The win was just what Canyon Hills needed coming off of a 6-2 loss in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, University City can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 5-2 margin over Clairemont. The result kept University City happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 18th.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Mia Ramirez and
Eva Sipe, who scored all five of University City's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 23 so far this season.
Canyon Hills' win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-8. As for University City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7-2 record this season.
Canyon Hills suffered a grim 5-1 defeat to University City when the teams last played back in January. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Canyon Hills was down 4-1.
