Even though the Millbury Woolies have not done well against the Tantasqua Regional Warriors recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Millbury came out on top against Tantasqua Regional by a score of 54-44. Millbury's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Millbury's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kenny Donnelly, who scored 21 points. The contest was Donnelly's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Phillipo, who scored 12 points.
Millbury's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Tantasqua Regional, they bumped their record down to 1-3 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Millbury will be home for the holidays to greet Burke at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tantasqua Regional, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Minnechaug Regional at 6:30 p.m. on December 21st.
