Model put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Mt. Zion Eagles as they made off with a 12-4 win. While the Blue Devils didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Model's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Mt. Zion, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Model will square off against Heard County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Braves' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Blue Devils' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Mt. Zion, they will take on Douglas County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
