 Hayden Elchlepp was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out seven batters over  six innings while giving up  three earned  (and one unearned) runs off   nine  hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in nine consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in March.

The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 6.5 runs over those games. As for Centennial, their loss  ended  a  seven-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 19-5.
