The Ocean View Christian Patriots scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 40-14 margin over High Tech CV. That looming 40-14 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Ocean View Christian yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ocean View Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Montse Acosta, who scored six points along with six rebounds and three steals. Those six rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Katelyn Barbeito, who scored six points.
Ocean View Christian pushed their record up to 6-4 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for High Tech CV, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
Ocean View Christian will be playing at home against School for Entrepreneurship & Technology at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
