The West Wolfpack lost against the Oakdale Mustangs back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. West fell 33-24 to Oakdale. West has struggled against Oakdale recently, as their game on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
West's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Delmy Alvarez, who scored 12 points, and Athena Pastran who scored nine points along with three steals. Alvarez also grabbed two steals for the first time this season.
West has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Oakdale, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4.
West will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Campolindo at 4:00 p.m. on December 14th. As for Oakdale, they will square off against Christian Brothers at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Christian Brothers focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Monday.
