If Tranquillity wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played McFarland, they should've done a better job of containing Malachi Davis. The Cougars took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 36-8 victory over the Tigers thanks in part to Davis, who rushed for 90 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 102 yards and a pair of TDs on only nine passes. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack, made nine total tackles (2.0 for loss), and defended two passes in addition to snagging two interceptions.

McFarland didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Leading the way was Davis and his two interceptions.
