Cochranton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Shelby McBryar, who scored 23 points along with six rebounds. Those 23 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Eve Pfeiffer, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Saegertown bumped their record down to 4-5 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.8 points per game. As for Cochranton, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Saegertown will take on General McLane at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (General McLane is ranked 377th, while Saegertown is ranked 402nd). As for Cochranton, they will head out on the road to face off against Conneaut Area at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
