In what's become a running theme this season, the Corcoran Panthers gave their fans yet another huge win on Wednesday. They blew past Granite Hills 72-19 at home. Winning may never get old, but Corcoran sure is getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
Corcoran got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Emilee Santos out in front who scored 18 points along with five assists and five steals. Santos is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 18 or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Katalina Castillo, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Corcoran has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. As for Granite Hills, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-17.
Corcoran will head out on the road to square off against the Cardinals at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Granite Hills, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Bears at 7:30 p.m.
