First Presbyterian Day won the last time they faced Covenant Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Vikings were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Rams. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won 18 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

First Presbyterian Day pushed their record up to 27-3 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Covenant Academy, they moved to 13-14 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
