The Colonie Central Raiders put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They managed a 62-56 victory over Christian Brothers Academy. Given Colonie Central's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while Christian Brothers Academy is ranked 97th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Cameron Trimarchi, who scored 19 points. Another player making a difference was Ryan Klouse, who scored ten points.
Colonie Central pushed their record up to 14-0 with that victory, which was their ninth straight on the road. As for Christian Brothers Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Colonie Central will take on Ballston Spa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Christian Brothers Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Niskayuna at 7:00 p.m. Niskayuna and Christian Brothers Academy are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
