Basketball Recap: Enterprise's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Enterprise came into Saturday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 47-37 victory over the Fall River Bulldogs on Saturday. This was a revenge game for the Hornets: when they faced off against the Bulldogs last Tuesday, they had to take a 54-50 loss.

Enterprise's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Catherine Ahart, who went 7 of 16 en route to 19 points and three steals. That's the most points Ahart has posted since back in November of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Lila Mcdaniels, who posted six points and 13 rebounds.

Enterprise smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Reese Cassity and Mylah Darnell certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Cassity went 7 of 17 on her way to 16 points and three steals, while Darnell had eight points and six boards. That was a full 43.2% of Fall River's points, marking the third time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Enterprise's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-5. As for Fall River, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Enterprise will be taking part in a tournament against University Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. University Prep will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Enterprise surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fall River, they will welcome Tulelake at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
