There's no place like home for Truckee, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Wooster Colts on Monday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 9-3 victory two weeks ago.

Parker Bacon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned runs on eight hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Calder Finn, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Cortez Sherman, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Truckee is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Wooster, they moved to 11-9-1 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Truckee will welcome Hug at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wolverines are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Wooster, they will head out to face off against North Valleys at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Colts surely won't give up without a fight.
