After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Escondido Charter, the Tri-City Christian Eagles were happy to have found some success on Friday. They came out on top against Orange Glen by a score of 35-23. That's another feather in the cap for Tri-City Christian, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Tri-City Christian was led to victory by Katie Busch and Ava Johnson. Busch dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds, while Johnson scored 14 points along with five steals. Johnson hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games.
Tri-City Christian's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Orange Glen, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tri-City Christian will take on Maranatha Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Maranatha Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Orange Glen, they will be playing at home against San Pasqual at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. San Pasqual comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
