The Foothill Mustangs will be playing at home against the Cordova Lancers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
Last Friday, Foothill took a serious blow against the Warriors, falling 58-19. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Foothill in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now lost five in a row.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Joyce Runner, who scored seven points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zeniah Thompson, who scored seven points.
Meanwhile, Cordova put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past Valley 40-17. The win was just what Cordova needed coming off of a 52-27 loss in their prior match.
Foothill has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for Cordova, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-13 record this season.
