There's no place like home for the Sharpsville Blue Devils, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They claimed a resounding 56-26 victory over Rocky Grove at home.
Lily Palko was her usual excellent self, scoring 29 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Macie Steiner, who scored 11 points.
Sharpsville's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Rocky Grove, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
Sharpsville won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Slippery Rock at 7:15 p.m. on February 8th. Sharpsville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Rocky Grove, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Commodore Perry at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
