Spring Valley is 9-1 against Riverside since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. Spring Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their matchup on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 99-61 win over Hurricane. With the Timberwolves ahead 58-29 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Spring Valley can attribute much of their success to Harrison Riggs, who almost dropped a double-double on 30 points and nine boards, and Colton Caldwell, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and ten rebounds. Caldwell is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 34 games he's played dating back to last season. Keyan Grayson was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
Spring Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.
Riverside fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They walked away with a 66-54 win over Teays Valley Christian on Friday.
Riverside's win came from a few key players Spring Valley will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Isaiah Coles, who almost dropped a triple-double on 15 points, ten boards, and nine assists. Those ten rebounds gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryer Mullins, who went 5 for 8 to rack up 15 points.
Spring Valley pushed their record up to 13-1 with the victory, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.8 points over those games. As for Riverside, their win bumped their record up to 4-12.
