In Saturday's league contest, the host Spring Valley Timberwolves basketball team scored a good 84-67 triumph over the Riverside Warriors.

The Timberwolves (14-1) will now prepare for their contest against Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV). The Big Reds go into the Mountain State contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Parkersburg was topped by Musselman (Inwood, WV), 68-56, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Riverside will attempt to better on its 4-13 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 12-4 record after their 69-46 non-league win over Grafton (Grafton, WV).
