In Saturday's league test, the Huntington Highlanders (Huntington, WV) basketball squad knocked off the host Spring Valley Timberwolves (Huntington, WV), by a score of 68-59.

Next, the Highlanders encounter the Riverside Warriors (Belle, WV) in a Mountain State test, on Tuesday, February 4. Huntington will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 2-11 record after their 76-75 league loss to Capital (Charleston, WV).

The Timberwolves (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Hurricane (Hurricane, WV). The Redskins come into the Mountain State test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Hurricane was knocked off by Huntington (Huntington, WV), 68-56, in a league test.
