The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Spring Valley Timberwolves (Huntington, WV) and the host Huntington Highlanders (Huntington, WV), observed Spring Valley's basketball team overwhelm Huntington by a score of 76-55.

The Timberwolves (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Ironton (Ironton, OH). The Fighting Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Ironton trounced Gallia Academy (Gallipolis, OH), 61-60, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Highlanders battle the Capital Cougars (Charleston, WV) in a Mountain State challenge, on Wednesday, January 22. Huntington will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record.
