In Monday's league contest, the host St. Albans Red Dragons basketball team scored a close 73-69 triumph over the Riverside Warriors.

The Red Dragons (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Huntington (Huntington, WV). The Highlanders go into the Mountain State contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Huntington nipped Cabell Midland (Ona, WV), 64-60, in a league contest.
