December 14, 2024: Belle, WV 25015

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Preston Knights basketball team scored a close 52-49 triumph over the Riverside Warriors.

The Knights (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV). The Buccaneers go into the Big Ten contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Buckhannon-Upshur nipped Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV), 44-34, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Cabell Midland Knights (Ona, WV) in a Mountain State contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Riverside will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 83-67 non-league win over Sissonville (Charleston, WV).
