It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cox had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They never let the First Colonial Patriots get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Considering the Falcons have won 17 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Cox is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for First Colonial, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 12-11 record.

Looking ahead, Cox will face off against Ocean Lakes at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Falcons 2.1, the Dolphins 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. First Colonial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
