The Quincy Trojans will be playing at home against the Los Molinos Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Quincy will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
Last Friday, Quincy's game was all tied up 24-24 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 46-34 win over Portola.
Quincy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tatum Hughes, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hana Hostetter, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, winning is just a little bit easier when you outrebound your opponent 16 to 2 on the offensive boards, a fact Los Molinos proved on Friday. They managed a 36-32 victory over Maxwell. The victory was just what Los Molinos needed coming off of a 49-24 defeat in their prior game.
Mckenna Michelle and Natalie Martinez were among the main playmakers for Los Molinos as the former dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds and the latter scored 15 points along with six rebounds and four steals. It was the first time this season that Martinez grabbed two or more steals.
Quincy's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-4. As for Los Molinos, their victory bumped their record up to 7-18.
Everything went Quincy's way against Los Molinos in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as Quincy made off with a 48-23 win. Will Quincy repeat their success, or does Los Molinos have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
