The Lassen Grizzlies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight defeat. They were dealt a 75-39 defeat at the hands of West Valley. Lassen was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-16.
Lassen's loss came despite strong showings from Nellie Ratcliff and Mili Crosno. Ratcliff dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds, while Crosno scored 12 points. Crosno is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight.
Lassen has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-19 record this season. As for West Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.
Lassen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. West Valley also has no future games currently scheduled.
