The Richland Rams won the last time they faced the Bedford Bisons, and things went their way on Thursday too. Richland secured a 49-44 W over Bedford.
Despite the loss, Bedford still got an impressive performance from Jacob Wilson, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Quincy Swaim, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Richland's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Bedford, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Richland will finish 2023 at home by hosting Portage at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Portage has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 400 points over their last six matches. Bedford will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Somerset at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2024.
