The Centennial Apaches can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. Everything went their way against Bellflower as Centennial made off with a 51-25 win. The win was just what Centennial needed coming off of a 60-30 defeat in their prior match.
Centennial was led to victory by Aubrianna Flowers and Erin Jackson . Flowers scored 23 points along with 6 steals, while Jackson dropped a double-double on 22 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Flowers has scored at least 25% of Centennial's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dalia Robinson , who scored 5 points along with 5 rebounds.
Centennial's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Bellflower, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Centennial will face off against Savanna at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Savanna will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Bellflower, they will head out on the road to face off against Whittier Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Whittier Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bellflower in California (Whittier Christian is ranked 271st, while Bellflower is ranked 801st).
