It was a close one, but on Friday South Ridge sidestepped Mountain Iron-Buhl for a 23-20 win. Mountain Iron-Buhl can consider this payback for the 38-40 loss they dealt South Ridge the last time the teams encountered one another.
The victory bumped South Ridge's record up to 3-0. The defeat dropped Mountain Iron-Buhl's record to 2-1.
Next week South Ridge take on Ely at 7:00 PM. As for Mountain Iron-Buhl, they will face off against Kelley.
