Fullington Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Crisp Academy Wildcats, falling 17-7. One positive for the Trojans, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Garlan Godfrey was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Will Greer was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Fullington Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Crisp Academy, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fullington Academy will welcome Georgia Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Georgia Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Fullington Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Crisp Academy, they will be playing at home against Covenant Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
