Pacifica barely beat Oxnard the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tritons never let the Yellowjackets get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Friday. That eight-run margin sets a new team best for the Tritons this season.

Pacifica pushed their record up to 5-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Oxnard, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Coming up, Pacifica will venture away from home to face off against Dos Pueblos at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oxnard, they will square off against Skyline at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
