Joel Rachmann was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out ten batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Keith Demps was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Riverdale moved to 3-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Stephenson, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
