Pekin had to endure a three-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out the East St. Louis Flyers 2-1 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Dragons have posted since October 4th.

Pekin had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-22, 15-12.

Pekin's win bumped their record up to 9-19. As for East St. Louis, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 16 of their last 19 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-23 record this season.
