The Tulia Hornets will head out on the road to challenge the Bushland Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tulia has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 29.
Tulia suffered their biggest defeat since December 1, 2023 on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Dalhart, falling 70-29. Tulia has struggled against Dalhart recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Nic Carrasco, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Bushland unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 58-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Canadian.
Tulia has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season. As for Bushland, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.
Tulia was taken down by Bushland 84-45 in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Tulia avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
