Bushland Falcons (Bushland, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Tulia Hornets (Tulia, TX), 56-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bushland upgrades its record to 13-8 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to River Road (Amarillo, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 3A Region I District 1 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 12-13.

Next up, the Hornets play the Canadian Wildcats (Canadian, TX) in a 3A Region I District 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Tulia will attempt to upgrade on its 8-17 season record.
