After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Spring-Ford, the Norristown Eagles were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They took down Upper Perkiomen 50-36. That 14 points margin sets a new team best for Norristown this season.
Despite the loss, Upper Perkiomen still got an impressive performance from Erin States, who scored 19 points. That was a full 52.8% of Upper Perkiomen's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Norristown's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Upper Perkiomen, they bumped their record down to 4-13 with that defeat, which was their 17th straight on the road.
